You Always win when you invest in education. Willits Center Foundation in partnership with the California State University, Haywards Division of Extended Education, provides accredited professional training courses in the field of fund accounting. The classes listed below can provide job opportunities, it can also enhance productivity and effeciency in an office environment. Our classes are provided live at CSUH campus, or on-line (optional). Our on-line classes can be taken any time 24 hours a day any where in the United States over the internet.

Required Courses

• ACCT 7010 - Accounting Essentials (2 units)
• ACCT 7011 - Fund Accounting (4 units )
• ACCT 7012 - GASB 34 (4 units )

Program Format

You can complete the entire program online, participating in the lectures through simulcast media streaming via the internet. On-line registrants are recommended to have broadband internet connection, as course formats will consist of multimedia presentations. Free software to run the online section is available for download on the Internet ( Realplayer). All presentations are available for the on-campus attendees, as well.

Text Books

Students are required to purchase their own textbooks which are listed with course descriptions. On-line vendors, such as amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com are reliable sources for these texts. Type the ISBN# into their search fields to find your book.

Certificate

Students who pass all three courses with a "C" grade or better will recieve a certificate from the California State University of Hayward. Click here to view the certificate.

Refund Policy

ACCT 7010: Student may receive a full refund if withdrawal is requested prior to shipping of the CD-ROMs. No refunds are accepted once the CD-ROMs are shipped.

ACCT 7011/ACCT 7012: Student may receive a full refund if withdrawal is requested two weeks prior to the quarter start date or earlier. Students may receive a 65% refund if withdrawal request is made within the two weeks preceding the quarter start date through the first week of the quarter. There are no refunds given one week after the quarter start date.There is a 5% additional fee for credit card refunds.
